off the grid is an event that has been going on in sf for about 3 years now – grouping street food vendors together to create an experience where friends and strangers can gather to eat, drink, listen to live music, and just enjoy being outside. the summer series started last week in the presidio, and i have a feeling we'll be attending every opportunity we get.

8:57 PMon the way home we made our usual stop at mvbw for a delicious "chorizo plate", my favorite botanical beer, and the tastiest grilled artichokes {hello, artichoke season!} – our night ended mellow with friends at naked lunch in north beach for dinner, drinks, and pools sharking.

5:41 PMfriday night we celebrated another 25th birthday for amelia. it was so nice to get together *ladies only* for pre birthday drinks at press club, followed by a fabulous dinner at hakasaan. this new spot in union square feels much more like you're in vegas or nyc, rather than sf. this obviously made us feel very classy. cheers ap and happy birthday!

12:31 PMif you haven't heard, i'm 25. i am going to welcome this new scary age with open arms, and what better way than over delicious mexican food and a big ol' babe across from me? wednesday night we had dinner at padrecito, a new spot in cole valley by the guys of many other restaurants we love, {they are kinda killing it?} it was such a special night that i will always remember!
last week al and i took full advantage of this not-so-typical sunny weather, and enjoyed lunch outside @ the ferry building. sidekick, is a sandwich spot by the guys at cowgirl creamery – i'm shocked that i haven't tried this place already. the sandwiches are served open faced and are soooo delicious. next time you're at the farmer's market, i strongly suggest you give these things a try. bon appetit!
last week i shared TiT with a few friends {who also happen to be co-workers} prior to seeing a movie that i will not disclose because it is too embarrassing {ok fine we saw spring breakers.}
for dinner we went to le hot spot, lers ros thai – i just keep saying "isn't all thai good?" but alas, they proved me wrong. this thai, is... better. somehow. the pad thai leaves you feeling happy rather than feeling like you just ate a bowling ball for dinner. you feel me? and the tom kah kai soup is on another level. i highly recommend this little joint if you're ever wandering the tenderloin. bon appetit!
