Even though TiT now occurs every three weeks, it seems to come so quick! Last night we started with drinks at the new bar Social Study, which had a perfect cozy vibe. We later walked over to State Bird Provisions for dinner and were not disappointed. This spot is uniquely dim sum style... without the dim sum. The menu is actually quite opposite. In addition to what you order from the menu, you also have the option to just grab things off the passing carts.

Monday night JC and KP paired up to surprise me with a dinner at Marlowe. I had no idea jc was in the area... so it was a perfect way to spend the evening. We had an impromptu 'try it monday' and ordered almost every appetizer/small plate on the menu! Such a great little SOMA gem. 
Bummed we didn't get a pic of all three of us...

Contraband Coffee and the hardware store are starting to be a Sunday tradition, it feels like. Later the guys made a delicious dinner and were nice enough to wait for me to watch the Academy Awards. We had a fun night by the fire, looking for Adam on the red carpet. We even managed to squeeze in making another batch of green juice.. mmmm..

Saturday started with breakfast at Batter, a new spot on Polk with tasty healthy food. In the afternoon we took the bikes out to the Mission for exploring. We popped around to various spots, grabbed biscuits from Slow Club, and a few more snacks + wine {and beer} at Mission Cheese. Later we wandered to Fillmore for an evening Friache and Blue Bottle. I love mellow SF days/nights like these.

100 posts already, wowza. Friday night kp took +7 of us to his work party. It was a blast ... and felt more like an art gala/club? The endless amounts of drinks/food/photo booth trips made for quite a night to remember.

Such a great night -- we ate one of the most delicious home cooked meals I've ever had (i take absolutely no credit for the menu, the cooking, or the preparation...), followed by a relaxing night in... resting up for our trip to NYC this weekend. I attempted to make my favorite dessert, Meringues and Double cream... but... I failed. Oh well.

Sunday we went to Point Reyes with the intention of doing yoga and the Tule Elk Reserve hike... but, plans changed and we had to be back in the city to greet visitors -- so, we had lunch and coffe at Cowgirl Creamery and Toby's Feed barn, made a pit stop and MVBW, and had a nice day back in the city. That night we played big 2 and enjoyed a delicious and hilarious group dinner with friends @ Delarosa.

Unfortunately I was bed-ridden thursday and friday with a bad case of the flu. What a nightmare. This tweaked our big weekend plans a bit - but we still managed to have a great time. Saturday was mellow -- we had (the most delicious) lunch at Outterlands follow by Trouble Coffee. Later we wandered Hayes Valley and Fatted Calf so we could try out my new crock pot (merci Martha). And -- in the spirit of getting healthy -- we bought a boat load of fruits and veggies to use in KP's juicer. We will definitely start doing this more often!

Our night started with drinks at Comstock before dinner. 
Cotogna is one of those make-a-reservation-3-months-in-advance type restaurants. But it was well worth the wait. Their unique menu changes daily, they make pasta in house, they have bee hives on their roof, and all bottles of wine are 40 bucks. I definitely see myself wanting to come back here in the future ... if I can ever get a table.

Sunday we had a quick breakfast at our favorite Farm:Table before JC had to head to the airport. Then it was time for mom errands -- grocery shopping and bed bath + beyond. Thank you Martha!! Later we did a mother daughter lunch at Nopa with Kim and Alyssa ... followed by drinks at Mojo. Such a fun afternoon. The rest of the day was low key, watching the Super Bowl and enjoying seafood sunday dinner -- halibut with butternut squash/sage ravioli. Happy Monday !
