Pretty mellow weekend filled with football, errands, and relaxing. Sunday we spent the rainy morning at Hooker's Sweet Treats -- cozy and delicious. Later we went to Plant Warehouse -- a great little plant shop on California (with complementary wine!) We cooked halibut tacos for sea food Sunday and went to bed early. Happy Monday!

This past weekend we went to Austin for ACL. It flew by, but we had a great time catching up with family and friends, and seeing tons of live music. We also spent some time exploring -- Shady Grove, Lustre Pearl, 24 Diner (our first Chicken + Waffles), Z Tejas, and wandering South Congress were a few of the spots we were able to squeeze in. We are excited to go back to Texas soon!

Cults, Theophilus London, Ray LaMontagne, Foster the People, Pretty Lights (moderately after a mid-day nap), Kanye West, Aloe Blaacc, Young the Giant, Alexander, TV on the Radio, Stevie Wonder, Fleet Foxes, Empire of the Sun, and Arcade Fire.

The warm sunshine brought us out for a walk down Polk yesterday afternoon, followed by happy hour on the roof. When the weather is nice, the roof is the perfect place to have a relaxing evening glass of wine + cheese. Later we cooked halibut for dinner and watched football.

Sunday morning we went to the farmer's market at Fort Mason. Even if you don't buy anything here, it is such a pleasant walk from Nob Hill. On the way home we stopped at the Candy Store for some treats ... what a cute little spot that I have never seen before!

Saturday night was fun and different. We went to Gulch Alley Music Studio... a cool underground basement... to see local art and hear music.

Yesterday started with some exercise and lunch on the back patio at Radius Cafe. After lunch we drove to Sonoma for swimming at the Fairmont Mission Inn ... this was the perfect way to get some sunshine and a day-vacation. We ended the afternoon with wine tasting at The Tin Barn Vineyards - this place was cozy and small, with great wine.

Today Jacqueline and I went for early coffee at Sightglass... they have finally finished renovating and the new space looks great. After some home-good errands in Oakland, we went for a much needed happy hour in the sun. Waterfront SF provided the perfect sparkling wine and snacks on the patio.

Saturday night we made a delicious chicken and prosciutto dish I found here, coupled with great red wine brought by a friend. Later we went to Swensen's for ice cream and fresh air... A perfect Saturday night, in my opinion !

Saturday morning I woke up and wanted to do something active. I took my (fairly new) velo for a ride to the Golden Gate Bridge and felt very accomplished! Though it is not too far away some of the hills are deadly...
