Yesterday was so pleasant. We started the day with breakfast at Nook ... met up with the ladies for a goodbye, then headed to golden gate park with a blue barn picnic packed. We played frescobol, listened to the drummers, and enjoyed the sunshine. Later we went to the presidio social club patio for drinks {ramos gin fiz} and frites. A mellow night at home followed with ahi tuna tacos for dinner.

This weekend a lovely group of ladies went to Sonoma in honor of V and T being in town. 
The day was filled with sun... wine... champagne... cheese... chocolate... hilarious conversations, and so much more. So happy we were able to spend the day together!

Friday after work we hurried over to Bar Crudo for happy hour. Following some oysters, clams, and wine we wandered the area -- put our name on the wait list at Nopalito -- and had a cocktail at The Page. After our delicious dinner and margaritas, we ended the night at the Ice Cream Bar.

i love gqp happy hours {aka fancy fridays}... especially when they turn into happy dinners. Friday night Alexandra, Bridge and I started out at Bar Bambino on the back patio to enjoy the warm weather. Mission Cheese followed. And our night ended with margaritas at Tacolicious.
Yay weekend.

We were surprised at how up-beat this chill-sounding band was in real life. The night started with dinner and cocktails @ farmerbrown... followed by the concert at the Civic Auditorium. I couldn't be happier with the experience. And for a fun fact from kp -- "Bon Iver" originated from the french phrase "bon hiver" aka have a good winter.

Sons and Daughters has been on the "try it" list for some time now. The pre-fixed-7-course menu, though, made us weary of dining without some sort of justification. So, for my 24th birthday, we did just that. The food and wine pairing were beyond delicious... though our{my} eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Each piece was equally as creative and beautiful as it was tasty.
I am so glad we were finally able to check this off our list!

Most of Sunday was spent on the roof ... playing Jenga ... drinking wine ... eating {the most massive} cheese plate ... watching the sunset and frozen earth ... and enjoying the fact that we had no plans.
We were so full of cheese that the seafood part of our day slowly slipped. Oh well.

Saturday morning we biked over to Local's Corner for brunch -- Local Mission Eatery's sister restaurant. It was so so delicious. We walked around the area for a bit afterwards to digest before our bike home. Later that night I was surpirsed with a lovely bday celebration at MBC. Great company, corndogs, moscow mules, and gutter balls made for the perfect night.

For an early birthday celebration we went up to Sonoma for a Scribe Winery + Locanda event: one of three dinner series this month. It might have been the most perfect ... night ... ever? Videos capture so much more than photos -- and I am practicing my iMovie skills -- but nothing will ever really convey how special this night truly was.
