10 SF airbnbs to call home

Kate ParrishComment

SF is full of so many cool apartments to rent, this list is really just scratching the surface. With the price and location of most "cool" hotels in the city, renting a chic neighborhood apartment seems to be such a better way to really experience this city. Grabbing coffee at the local bakery, wandering the streets of a historic neighborhood, having a glass of wine at the corner cafe ... you stumble upon so many "non-touristy" spots this way. And if you book with this link, you'll get $20 off your first stay. Check out more SF to-do items on the travel guide.

72 hours in mexico city

Kate ParrishComment

i am so grateful for my little birthday surprise trip – mexico city was such a dream. i'm already trying to figure out when we can get back there. the food, the tequila, the fresh juices, the beautiful green parks. and so much dang culture. we could have easily spend another week here roaming the streets.

my favorite spots from our first few days here include: our amazingly adorable airbnb, the best lunch (ever) at guzina oaxacalate night drinks at jules basementmultiple patio sessions at condesa dfroaming lincoln park and finding the cutest little garden patio, *almost* getting tats at the cabalerria, exploring the mercado de medellin, and lastly sipping mezcal on our rooftop patio.

a summer christmas in buenos aires

it's hard to believe our journey to south america is over – i'm so happy we were able to capture so much of our trip with photos and videos. soon i will have all of our favorite restaurants/bars/activities documented on the travel page

today i'm sharing our first 2 days in buenos aires – some highlights from this time include: our *absolutely amazing* airbnb rental apartment – the hosts and experience was one of the best i've ever had, exploring our neighborhood – palermo soho, riding bikes through the crazy streets, sneaking into the four seasons pool, drinking lots of malbec while eating lots of steak, touring ancient cemeteries and wandering into bookstores and wine shops, and of course kp popping the question on christmas eve. happy friday and there are many more photos to come.

an airstream weekend in wimberley

Kate ParrishComment

months ago we came across this airstream and were so sad when it was booked months out. we ended up making a reservation 8 months in advance, and i can't believe it has come and gone! we had such a lovely time relaxing, cooking (and also dining @ our favorite spot the leaning pear), hot tubbing, swimming in the *empty* blue hole (last time it was packed), playing scrabble,  showering outside, and enjoying the peaceful property around us. if you live in the austin area – i would highly recommend a night or two here!
