SANTORINI & ATHENS, GREECE | TRAVEL GUIDE
Pallas athena I did not stay here personally, but have heard it's one of the best if you're planning to take the hotel route.
Airbnb A few places i'd definitely check out if i were to go back. this option looks perfect for folks on a budget, whereas this spot looks like an obvious choice if you're planning to splurge a bit more.
TO EAT & DRINK
Leather sandals: Visit Stavros, the "poet sandal maker". I've had mine for years and they get better with age.
Catamaran We took a private boat ride for the day that made little stops in Aegina, Poros, and Hydra and i'll remember it forever.
Mt lycabettus Hike/walk up to the top, you will be hot and sweaty and frustrated, but it's all worth it for those views!
Acropolis in the evening Less crowded, less hot, and seeing it lit up at night is beautiful.
The Majestic Hotel, Fira Couldn't have been better; it's luxurious with views that give you the "i'm in greece" feeling, without the price tag.
TO EAT AND DRINK
Paths, alleys, stairwells You'll find these all over Fira and Oia, and it's so much fun to get lost amongst the many local shops, eateries and beautiful homes. Here are also some cool hikes.
The Red Sand Beach This spot has grown to be more touristy over the years, however it's truly out of this world beautiful and welcomes all nudity which is kinda fun if you're into that.
